“A Buddhist Walks Into A Hospital.”

This week’s talk by senior meditation instructor Cathy Lhamo Jackson is entitled: “A Buddhist Walks Into A Hospital.” As a hospital chaplain, Cathy Lhamo has gained valuable insights regarding end of life issues, both from a spiritual, and a temporal point of view. In this talk, she discusses the importance of sharing our wishes regarding our medical care with our loved ones, as well as in a living will, and other legal documents. We examine how these steps can help to insure that our medical and spiritual needs are met and those closest to us are spared the burden of making difficult decisions for us in a time of crisis.
