Diligence

Diligence is the fourth of the 6 Paramitas. How we practice this virtue is important. Being diligent is not a simple mustering of energy, gritting our teeth and enduring the austerity of a practice as if it were an athletic contest. Diligence requires familiarity and confidence in practice and its results. Diligence is actively and energetically finding joy in practice. This talk looks at these aspects of diligence and identifies obstacles to joy in practice
