Hindrances to Meditation and Practice

This week’s Dharma Talk is entitled Hindrances to Meditation and Practice by Lama Tom Broadwater

In Buddhism there are said to be 5 hindrances, or mind states, that inhibit our meditation. They are: agitation, torpor or laziness, ill-will, attraction or desire, and doubt. Lama Tom defines each of these hindrances, examines their causes, and details some remedies we can apply to help clear the way for successful practice.
