The Gentle Power of Love: Part 2

This week Lama Kathy Wesley gives a talk entitled, “The Gentle Power of Love: Part 2.” Mindfulness helps us see our inner thoughts, feelings and motivations in ways that were not possible before we practiced meditation. But how do we deal with the disappointment of being imperfect in an imperfect world?  By practicing love for ourselves – looking at ourselves with the eyes of love of a devoted grandparent – or an enlightened master. This talk presents strategies for developing love for ourselves and all the children of the world.  This series is based on Khenpo Karthar Rinpoché’s teaching on the Dedication and Aspiration Chapter of Shantideva’s “The Way of the Bodhisattva.”
