“Making and Keeping a Buddhist Shrine” Workshop with Lama Kathy Wesley

We all love the beauty of Buddhist shrines. But how do we create a shrine in our home – and what are the benefits of creating and keeping a shrine?
Lama Kathy’s workshop will explain the symbolism of the shrine, what sorts of items can be placed on one, and how tending a shrine can become part of a daily practice of cultivating mindfulness and uncovering your Buddha Nature.
Everyone – from beginners to experienced practitioners – will learn something from this workshop; bring a picture of your shrine from home and we will show you ways to make it the best it can be.
