Come Sit with Us Saturday March 23!
During Lama Karma Drodhul’s recent visit, he encouraged us to try to practice regularly – at least a few minutes every day, at the start of our day, before we even get out of bed – and to try to increase our practice when and if we can.
To help our Dharma friends dip into the practice of retreat, Lama Tom will be leading a Ngondro Retreat and Open Practice Day from 10 AM to 12 Noon and 1 PM to 3 PM on Saturday March 23.
Originally planned as a retreat day for those practicing the Mahamudra Preliminary Practices (Ngondro), Lama Tom is encouraging those who want to sit in Shamatha (sitting meditation), do quiet mantra recitation or Ngondro practice to join him for a day of retreat.
Come for one hour, two hours, or all day – please bring a vegetarian sack lunch if you intend to stay all day. A functional talking meal period will take place from 12-1 PM.
In addition, Lama Tom will be available for questions or discussion.
No pre-registration is required, and the program is offered free – although donations are always appreciated!
Questions? Write to Lama Tom at tomb2784@gmail.com.
This Practice Day will give us well-deserved time together to study, meditate and discuss our Practice together..
Sessions: 10:00 AM to 12 Noon and 1 PM to 3 PM Eastern Time
