Due to COVID delta variant and risk of infection, the celebration for Lama Kathy’s 25th Anniversary Celebration has been changed from an in-person event to a virtual one. We hope you can join us! Twenty-five years ago, Lama Kathy graduated from her Three Year Retreat at Karme Ling and became the resident teacher for Columbus KTC. Since then, Lama Kathy has tirelessly given her time to provide dharma talks on Sunday mornings, directed practice and study activities at our center, guided us during private interviews and countless other activities too many to list. Through her work, she has benefited and continues to benefit all of us in Central Ohio and far beyond!
To celebrate and thank Lama Kathy, you are invited to attend an afternoon gathering at Jim Arter’s beautiful home and garden. This is a perfect spot to come together, share our memories and stories and recognize Lama Kathy. To ensure the safety of everyone attending, please follow CDC guidelines and protocols for wearing a mask and social distancing when attending this event.
To register for this event, please use the Eventbrite link below. While registering, you may also make a donation to Lama Kathy. Once your registration is complete, you’ll receive an electronic ticket with the address for this event.
In case of rain, an email will be sent to everyone who registered within four hours of the event and the celebration will be rescheduled for Sunday, August 29th.
