Emotional Healing: Facing Life’s Challenges with Curiosity and Courage (Saturday events)

June 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Sometimes it can seem like suffering follows us like our shadow. It doesn’t have to be this way.  As we go through our daily life we experience a variety of emotions and feelings which are uncomfortable at best and sometimes very painful to ourselves and those around us. Disappointments, jealousy, fear, anger, uncertainty, shattered plans, painful memories are just a few examples of this. Life doesn’t need to be this painful.

This weekend program will introduce you to a deeper understanding of how your emotions work and how to work with your emotions. It is possible for these emotional raw places to heal and you to experience your inherent wellbeing.

Sometimes ordinary difficulties add up and can have trauma-like symptoms. Lama Yeshe will encourage participants to see a painful past as an opportunity for spiritual growth, and show ways to cleanse our emotional wounds with wisdom.

“The intensity of the source of trauma (emotion) isn’t as impbuddhortant as the intensity of our emotional response to the trauma. ”

This program can help those who feel overwhelmed, but also those who know, or work with traumatized people. There will be time for questions and discussion.
