With all the distressing news of the past few weeks, many of us are ready for a break – and a a Buddhist sangha in Encinitas, CA will provide a short retreat this coming week with Lama Kathy that we hope will be an upliftment to our spirits.
“Holding a Good Heart in Difficult Times” is a special two-day workshop being hosted by the Encinitas CA Sangha to benefit the Columbus KTC Operating Fund.
This sangha, hosted by the Solana Beach Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and facilitated by Thrangu Rinpoche student Christine Turner, are old friends of ours, and have hosted other fundraisers for us in the past.
The workshop sessions will be Friday June 3 and Saturday June 4 at:
1 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern Time
and
4 PM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time
Participation will be by donation. KTC Columbus has graciously agreed to sponsor the EventBrite listing for this event.
