PLEASE READ – UPDATES TO THE COLUMBUS KTC WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION
A few days ago, the COVID status for Franklin County changed from green to yellow due to in an increase in the number of COVID cases and hospitalizations. In response, Columbus KTC is making a few changes to the programs offered this coming Sunday in an effort to keep everyone safe.
– Group Meditation will be shortened to 45 minutes THIS Sunday only. The program will begin at 10 am and conclude at 10:45 am ET.
– There will be a short break from 10:45 am to 11 am ET
– Due to the Welcome Home Gathering, no dharma talk will be offered at 11:30 am ET
– The Welcome Home Pledge Drive gathering will begin at 11 am and wrap up around 12:30 pm ET
– Again, in an effort to keep everyone safe as possible, no lunch will be served during our celebration.
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause.
Columbus KTC Sangha has navigated a lot of changes over the last few years. Even with the most recent changes impacting our event, we want to find a way to celebrate. The “Welcome Home” gathering will give us a chance to look at what’s been accomplished and think about how we can best support our community today and down the road.
You will have a chance to share your stories of connection at KTC, what excites you about our new home, and your ideas for the future. We’ll also talk about center finances, and share what we’ve learned about what it takes to operate a thriving dharma center. We look forward to seeing (and hearing from) you!
