We just learned that our KTC Volunteer and Dharma friend Caitlyn Buchanan will be visiting KTC Columbus this coming weekend, and we would like to celebrate her recent monastic ordination with a small reception and informal talk.
Ani Tsekyi has agreed, and so we will have a one-hour event on Saturday Feb. 24 from 3 PM to 4 PM in the KTC Columbus Community Room. Light snacks will be served.
Ani Tsekyi will talk about her journey to monasticism, and answer a few questions from moderator Lama Kathy. This reception will happen on Chotrul Duchen, a major Buddhist holy day that celebrates the Buddha’s performance of miracles. It’s a good day to rejoice in the merit of others, so we hope to see you there!
