Practicing Mindfulness Meditation is an eye-opener for many of us; after learning how to practice basic quiet sitting meditation (called Shamatha in Sanskrit), we discover our unseen thoughts and motivations and feel inspired to make changes in our lives.
This Saturday morning retreat will give us a chance to focus on Dharma practice and deepen our connection to the basic sanity and goodness of sitting meditation.
KTC Meditation Instructor Chuck Drake will lead meditation sessions, and one of the KTC lamas will be available for meditation instruction interviews, to help participants make a strong connection with their practice.
The program will be offered both in-person at the KTC and via Zoom to our at-home Zoom audience and distance sangha.
Water, coffee and tea will be provided.
To promote a mindful atmosphere, Functional Talking (for necessary things) will be observed.
