This event will be IN-PERSON ONLY at the KTC.
Under the surface of our everyday distraction flows a current of thought and emotional energy we barely notice, but which shapes our entire experience. Silence provides a clearer view of this river of mind, giving us needed perspective to become a more skillful navigator of our life.
Within the rare and transformative environment of silence, we’ll train in various kinds of attention; methods that can translate what we learn in the workshop into increased stability and clarity in everything we do.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: This one-day workshop will be held in silence, with no talking from the moment you arrive until after you’ve left the building. Instruction will be given primarily via the written word, and participants must refrain from all spoken communication. Please bring some means to write in case you have any questions during the workshop. (Pen and paper, dry erase board and marker, iPad, laptop, etc.)
There will be a one-hour lunch break around 11:30am. Lunch is not provided, so please bring whatever you wish to eat. It is strongly recommended that participants stay on-site to eat and/or practice in silence during this time in order to maintain the continuity of the workshop.
