Fulfilling Khenpo Rinpoche’s Vision

In 2022, our Sangha celebrated the joyful opening of our new KTC home – a vision made reality after years of hard work and perseverance. But our journey is not yet complete.

At the time we knew we weren’t finished because we hadn’t yet built the shrine to house the beautiful statues our founder Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche had purchased for us before his passing in 2019.

Now, three years later, we are ready to step up and complete the task Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche gave us: building a shrine to house our beautiful sacred objects and placing the Tibetan spire – called sertok, or “golden top” – on our building.

Creating a home for these sacred objects will make them more available to bless and inspire our sangha. The three statues and the sertok will be filled with mantras and relics capable of bestowing a blessing on everyone who sees, touches, or even remembers them. Such is the nature of sacred connection, and it expands the potential of the KTC to help and uplift our community.

But we cannot fulfill this vision without your help.
