This workshop will be Part 6 of Lama Losang’s overview of the Golden Eight-Petalled Lotus system of Asian Medicine. The Eight Petals represent the areas of one’s life that are studied and the methods that are practiced for cultivating health and preventing disease. The Eight Petals are presented in an ideal hierarchy showing exactly what is to be practiced for optimal health in mind and body, and how to carry them out in everyday life.
In this installment, Lama Losang will present the Seventh Petal: Meditation. Mind and Body share a special relationship – what happens in the body affects the mind, and vice-versa. Lama Losang will review basic meditation skills and show us how meditation can influence health to promote optimum well-being in the individual.
