This day-long retreat with Lama Kathy will introduce people to mindfulness and show how it can lead to a path of compassionate transformation.

Sessions: 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 3.PM Eastern Time
WHO CAN ATTEND? This program is open to everyone who has practiced – or wanted to practice – mindfulness meditation. The morning will be devoted to establishing mindfulness practice; the afternoon will be devoted to transforming mindfulness into compassion practice.

ABOUT LAMA KATHY: Lama Kathy has been a student of Buddhism since meeting Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche in 1977. She graduated in 1996 from the first 3-Year Retreat conducted by Khenpo Rinpoche in upstate New York. Since then she has served as Resident Teacher at the Columbus Karma Thegsum Chöling Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center in Columbus, OH. You can read her dharma articles at her website.
