As you may be aware, our beloved teacher, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, passed away the morning of October 6th, 2019. It has been recommended that students at all the centers do guru yoga and meditate on mixing their minds with Rinpoche’s mind with the aspiration to always be with him life after life.
Columbus KTC will offering special programs to honor Rinpoche and his life this week.
Thursday, October 9th: Calling the Guru From Afar
Please join Cathy Jackson at her home to chant “Calling the Guru from Afar”. The prayer will begin at 7 pm. Cathy’s home address is 205 Sunset Cove, Columbus, OH.
If you are unable to attend the puja on Thursday night, please consider chanting Calling the Guru From Afar prayer in your own home. Lama Kathy also recommends this Guru Yoga practice based on a teaching given by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche.
Sunday, October 13: Columbus KTC Dharma Talk
During Sunday’s dharma talk we will be share Rinpoche’s life story and give everyone an opportunity to share their memories and stories of Rinpoche as well. We hope you can join us for this special program.
